2024 Canton Fair focuses on “advanced manufacturing”
This year’s Canton Fair is the largest in history, with exhibition area and a record high number of participating companies. The total exhibition area has increased from 1.18 million square meters to 1.5 million square meters, and the number of booths has increased from 60000 to nearly 70000. The number of offline exhibition companies has increased from 25000 to 34933, with over 9000 new exhibitors and 39281 online exhibition companies.
It is reported that the first phase of this year’s Canton Fair focuses on “advanced manufacturing”, attracting new quality productivity, high-quality enterprises, and digital, intelligent, and green products as the biggest highlights. Of the 11165 exhibitors in this issue, there are about 3600 enterprises with digital technology and intelligent manufacturing related topics. 57.8% have adopted big data, artificial intelligence, industrial Internet and other technologies to upgrade the industrial chain. The participating companies showcased a large number of new products, technologies, materials, and processes, including 390000 digital products, an increase of 300%. 55.9% of enterprises have patents in the field of green and low-carbon, showcasing over 1.04 million green and low-carbon products. A number of high-tech and high value-added products such as smart home appliances, industrial automation equipment, intelligent bionic hands, and hydrogen powered bicycles are highly favored. Many participating companies have reported that the overseas buyers who attended this event have clear goals and strong willingness to place orders, reflecting their trust in Chinese suppliers and products.
